Nakheel gives the “Deira Islands” a facelift; the new name for the group of five islands is “Dubai Islands”

The master developer in Dubai has turned the idea of the “Deira Islands” into a collection of five islands with a combined area of 17 square kilometers. The developer’s continuous emphasis on the Dubai brand is reflected in the name of the new area, “Dubai Islands.”

The project will follow the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and “reinforce the emirate’s position as a global destination of choice for inhabitants, visitors, and investors.”
