The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi consents to providing residents with housing subsidies worth AED 746 million

On the orders of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has authorized the payment of housing benefits totaling AED2.74 billion to 1,800 residents of Abu Dhabi.

As part of the housing benefits, low-income retirees and the heirs of mortgage holders who have passed away are exempt from loan repayments. Al Ain, Al Dhafra, and Abu Dhabi are included in the payment. Loans are available for the following housing types: new construction, remodeling, and rebuilding, as well as maintenance and expansion. The first housing package of 2023, which coincides with the Eid Al Fitr celebrations, reflects the leadership’s commitment to ensuring social stability and empowering people to create strong, stable families that will benefit the future of the UAE.

The head of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) and the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa, expressed his sincere gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed and H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for their unwavering support in observing the needs of the general public and ensuring that their housing needs are met.
