The Palm Jebel Ali project would be refurbished and rebranded by Dubai real estate developer Nakheel, according to sources from Arabian Business.
For the relaunch, the project will have a new name, according to the sources.
A Nakheel representative confirmed in a statement to AGBI that “the Palm Jebel Ali masterplan is being reconsidered,” adding that additional information would be forthcoming shortly.

Last month, Nakheel restarted Palm Deira under the name Deira Islands, which was then renamed to Dubai Islands.
The business stated in an August statement that “Dubai Islands (formerly known as Deira Islands) will enhance the emirate’s status as a global destination of choice for inhabitants, visitors, and investors.”
