Dubai South Properties, the master developer, has launched the South Bay in the heart of The Residential District. There will be a 1-kilometer-long crystal lagoon, “multiple beaches,” over 800 villas and townhouses, and over 200 waterfront palaces. The project includes a more than 3-kilometer-long seaside promenade.

The announcement comes as Dubai South and the newly renamed Expo City Dubai (formerly District 2020) begin to pique the interest of property buyers and developers. “With the Expo site now transforming into Expo City Dubai by October,” a spokesperson said, “this project will be an ideal option for those seeking quality living at competitive prices.”

Customers can express their interest in South Bay‘s sales beginning in September. South Bay will feature three, four, and five-bedroom semi-detached villas and townhouses with built-up areas ranging from 2,900 to 4,800 square feet. The five, six, and seven-bedroom waterfront homes will have a maximum built-up area of approximately 13,000 square feet and will be available in a variety of sizes.

“The launch of South Bay follows the successful sell-out of all residential projects we have launched in recent years,” the spokesperson added.
