Leading UAE developers Lead Development and Jubail Island Investment Company (JIIC) have helped to officially break ground on Jubail Terraces, an affordable mixed-use community development in Abu Dhabi with 242 apartments and other crucial amenities.

These apartments at Jubail Terraces will be housed in a collection of low-rise, low-impact blocks, each of which will have 23 retail units on the ground floor. They will be located in Souk Al Jubail village, one of the most picturesque settings in the UAE, and are encircled by mangroves and wildlife. JIIC

The developers claim that the building got its name from the expansive terraces that allow homeowners to take in the views and the surroundings of nature. It will be built with beautiful, neutral decor.

The residential community will also include retail spaces, landscaped public gardens, parking, and gym facilities, offering residents and visitors a wide range of entertainment and lifestyle options. The apartments will range in size from studios to three bedrooms, and three-bedroom duplexes will also be available. Abu Dhabi

These elements will combine to form the centre of Jubail Island, together with the Marina neighbourhood, The Jubail Club, landscaping, and other facilities, they continued.

Construction General Contracting House (CGCH) has been given the AED 327 million ($89 million) building contract for the Jubail Terraces neighbourhood, which went on the market for purchase in February.

At the groundbreaking ceremony conducted today (April 13), Mounir Haidar, the Managing Partner of LEAD Development, said, “We are delighted to have officially signed the contract with CGCH to create our newest and most accessible community to date – Jubail Terraces.”

In addition, it will oversee all ancillary facilities as a significant UAE contractor and a global consulting organization. Atkins, according to him, had been performing supervisory duties.

Senior officials, including Wahbi Mohamed El Wardani, CEO, and Mohammed Ahmad Dib, General Manager of CGCH, as well as Mounir Haidar, Managing Partner of LEAD Development, Abdulla Al Shamsi, Corporate Director of JIIC, and other top officials attended the event.

The contract signing “further reinforces JIIC’s commitment to developing a world-class landmark destination that is synonymous with luxury living and created with sustainability in mind,” according to Haidar, given the market’s ongoing need for distinctively designed and high-quality homes.

In one of Jubail Island’s most prominent and sought-after neighborhoods, the new low-rise and low-impact apartment complexes, which are expected to be finished in March 2025, would provide potential residents with even more alternatives and flexibility, he added.
