Major construction milestones have been completed for the waterfront community Riviera, which is being built by UAE-based Azizi Developments in the heart of MBR City, one of Dubai’s business, entertainment, and shopping districts.
The first phase’s overall construction completion rate was 98%, according to Azizi, who provided an update on the project. The completion rates for the second, third, and fourth phases were 90%, 65%, and 21%, respectively.
The expected completion dates were listed as Q3 2022 to Q4 2024.
Riviera is a posh waterfront lifestyle neighborhood that will include more than 16,000 houses spread across 71 mid-rise towers.
CEO Farhad Azizi said: “It is satisfying to see the results of our efforts to ensure building quality and speed. We were able to significantly speed up construction while maintaining the highest levels of quality by carefully selecting our suppliers and contractors and buying our building supplies straight from manufacturers.
Our master-planned seaside community is quickly becoming a reality, one that will improve and shape life for future generations, he continued. “Several buildings in the first phase have recently been completed, and Rêve, the fourth phase of Riviera, has launched.
Azizi recently launched Rêve, its 24-building, ultra-luxury phase, in addition to finishing the 7 buildings in Riviera’s initial phase and the 634-unit Creek Views I project in Dubai Healthcare City, each of which cost AED300 million to construct.
The developer is currently putting the finishing touches on the 8,895 units split across 42 buildings that will be delivered in the remaining 2022 deliveries.
