18 new projects have been registered on the Department of Municipalities and Transport’s (DMT) “DARI” online real estate services portal in Abu Dhabi.

As a result of these initiatives, 5 037 extra dwelling units will be made accessible in various areas around the Abu Dhabi emirate, including Saadiyat Island, Yas Island, Al Reem Island, Madinat Zayed, and other places.

According to the “DARI” platform, which was introduced by the DMT at the beginning of 2022 to combat real estate scams and fake agents, ten projects for the construction of villas, five projects for the construction of residential and commercial blocks, as well as three mixed-use projects, were registered.

Since the platform’s launch in February of this year, 178 projects have been started, with varying completion rates of up to 99%. These projects include 74 residential buildings, 43 plots, 49 villas, and 12 mixed-use projects.

The DMT and the Advanced Real Estate Services Company (ADRES) together created the DARI platform, the first of its kind in the UAE, to guarantee transparency in Abu Dhabi’s real estate market.

The website gives customers a unified interface via which they can access a number of services and allows local and foreign investors to research potential future prospects in the emirate’s real estate sector.

Clients, companies, and real estate professionals can already access all services offered, including real estate purchase, sell, and lease transactions, “Tawtheeq” documentation, and access to relevant real estate certificates, through the DARI platform. The portal offers users a wide range of features, including a database of registered real estate projects, a guide for licensed real estate agents in Abu Dhabi, and many more.
